Is sea otters endangered? I ask cuz I recently learned river otters are NOT endangered and I always thought they were.
I learned that cuz I went on a kayak charter fishing trip and we caught our limits absurdly quick. And our guide was like “you like otters? I can show u otters” and he knew where to look and we saw like 3 large groups of big ass river otters. They love to hunt around trees, and they have their babies in tall grass and wad themselves up in grass like rabbits do. Also an exposed bank can be like a battleground between gators and otters. Cuz gators NEED an exposed bank, they don’t so much like the tall swamp grass or cane.
