This and reminding you have way lower cinemascores than the Rt verified score would suggest

Can someone explain why this score is not good?? I thought it means the movie is okay

Have y’all seen the trailer? This is not a masterpiece by any means lmao. It’s reminiscent of romance / dramas from the late 2000s / early 2010s

Same as The Housemaid and The Devil Wears Prada. Different genres but same intended demographic. It can still have good legs. A B doesnt mean it really sucked to the opening day fans.

Colleen Hoover adaptations had a great start but it seems like they’re making a speedrun of Nicholas Sparks’ adaptations. I mean, *Regretting You* was a big drop off from *It Ends with Us*, but a second B CinemaScore in a row with mixed-to-bad reviews? Here’s hoping *Verity* is better accepted by audiences and critics, otherwise it might be the end of this romance book adaptations revival.

I liked it so much more than It Ends with Us. Blake Lively ruined it ends with us.

I guess it is fine, RT score made me think it would be higher than Regretting You though.
