Same as The Housemaid and The Devil Wears Prada. Different genres but same intended demographic. It can still have good legs. A B doesnt mean it really sucked to the opening day fans.

Colleen Hoover adaptations had a great start but it seems like they’re making a speedrun of Nicholas Sparks’ adaptations. I mean, *Regretting You* was a big drop off from *It Ends with Us*, but a second B CinemaScore in a row with mixed-to-bad reviews? Here’s hoping *Verity* is better accepted by audiences and critics, otherwise it might be the end of this romance book adaptations revival.
