Can anyone explain why nearly every Jackass movie had hype and a decent opening weekend but this one is having neither of those? I mean it’s been a reliable franchise box office wise for ages

I know people hate the Ellisons but Paramount’s been on a roll this year.
Remember last year when they barely had anything?

Maybe it can make its budget back just enough to break even while it makes less then Jackass Forever

How. They filmed half a movie and it costed the same as Forever?

Easy profit.

I am not going to be shocked if this film stuns people. Just because it cost so little and nostalgia is a helluva drug.

With a 10 mil budget that’s basically a guaranteed break even at minimum, so Paramount’s playing it safe with a franchise that still has an audience even if the hype isn’t there.

The projection is $10M to 12M for the weekend. They aren’t doing a lot of marketing either. It will make a b profit.
