      That would be an incredible -40 to -45% drop for Toy Story 5, much better than Incredibles 2 which dropped -56% to 80M (though behind Inside Out 2 which dropped an amazing -34% to 101M). Great hold in store for Toy Story 5 and would make the path to 500M + much easier!

      I think they are very optimistic on TS5 second weekend hold, but WOM is very positive and could get into as high as 85 million dollars with franchise record and third best 2nd weekend for animated movie only behind IO2 and Super Mario bros.

      I’m not sure if Toy Story 5 can take an good drop at least $90M for its 2nd weekend but you got last week with the Juneteenth and Fathers Day Weekend which I’m thinking at least $80M range

      That would be a great hold for TS5, but I am expecting in the 50% range tbh.

      I think deadline is lowballing the tuesday number for TS5. It is approx $24.2 million dollars. Which is pretty great.

      With an opening like that, Supergirl is going to need Olympic Marathon legs to even make it to passed bomb into flop territory, let alone make a profit

      DC gotta step it up soon, I think clayface will make money but they have to get Batman or WW in there soon.

      Wouldn’t even be surprised if Paramount forced the verses to merge, “but reeves and pattison would leave” 7 figures and greenlighting passion projects can go a long way

      OW: 60M
      DOM: 155M
      WW: 315M

      The minute they took the axe to the old DCU, people stopped caring. Movies like Aquaman 2 and Black Adam bombed particularly because it was apparent that Warner Bros had no idea what they were doing.

      The brand turned to poison at a time when superhero movies are losing popularity.

      Supergirl could still overperform and/or break even. And even if it doesn’t, it’s not the end of Gunn and/or DC.

      Interesting that the 2nd weekend projection is that high?

      Incredibles 2 opened to 182M (+20M on TS5), that movie had higher opening Monday and Tuesday (23.6M Monday, 27M Tuesday), yet that movie “only” had a 2nd weekend of ~80M

      At this point a $55m+ OW for Supergirl would be a massive win. Doubtful it gets those kind of walk ups.

      A $96m 2nd weekend would be incredible for Toy Story 5, and point to $600m+ DOM possibly. Anything solidly above $80m would be good given how huge its OW was.

      Jackass completely cratered in the last four years. Should’ve put the series on Netflix. Hell, multiple platforms. Jackass Forever was one of the most fun times I’ve ever had at the movies. They boned this.

      It would be incredible if this had a stronger hold than the 2nd weekend of Toy Story 3

      I’m going to be a little more conservative and say that it’s going to make about 80 mil, but I hope I’m wrong cause 96 mil would be fantastic

      Obsession only made $17M first weekend. Supergirl can have a big 4th of July weekend… if audiences like it.

      Toy Story’s got that nostalgia cushion that Supergirl just doesn’t have, especially dropping it against a legacy franchise in its second weekend.
