Reviews are mostly pretty good, which in the grand scheme of things makes this the Citizen Kane of viral-horror-trends-turned-big-budget-movies. Congrats to Kane Parsons on an excellent debut, and may he have a fruitful career ahead of him!
Best production design Oscar nomination is looking increasingly likely.
Ill be very interested to see if this does better than obsession.
I personally think it will do better considering just how huge The Backrooms is as an online mythos and how much better known Kane Pixels is compared to Curry Barker in online spaces.
But word of mouth is a hell of thing. Time will tell.
Suitable comp is Exit 8?
