Star Wars Hits a Disney Era Low – Charts with Dan!

Second highest live action opening weekend of the year. Opened higher than PHM and devil wears Prada 2, and had marginally less front loaded weekend than both of them.

Nobody expected this to perform like the films of the 2010s, because it’s no logner the 2010s and it’s a continuation of a tv show that, while a hit, is still only a Disney plus sized hit.

I’m sure Disney wished it had done better but it also seems to have done fine relative to how everything else does these days
