I want this to succeed but also kinda don’t want it to affect Obsessions insane run.
Everybody has been buzzing a out this film, I don’t see how it can be a surprise hit.
Would it be that surprising? A24 has been marketing it pretty hard.
I can’t be the only one who thinks this film is going to be absolute ass.
It’ll still sleepwalk to a hundred million though
Can something be a true surprise when so many articles and thinkpieces are already predicting it to be a :”surprise” hit? Obsession is a genuine surprise smash precisely because nobody saw those box office numbers coming. But all I’ve been hearing in the past few weeks how Backrooms could be a box office surprise.
