Guess he learned from Kevin Costner to try to not release Part 1 and 2, 6 weeks apart. Still bummed I haven’t seen Horizon: Chapter 2 yet and it’s been almost 3 years.

Two parts within one month wasn’t the best idea, so this new change is much better.

    3. Wait are they really moving off the Easter Weekend for part 1 (going head to head with Zelda now?) and not taking Easter 2028 so they end up head to head with Lilo and Stitch 2 in 2028?

Seems a bit ballsy, I get wanting the summer dates, but Easter is a STRONG window and these movies would make some serious bank aligning with the holiday associated with the story.

They should have done this from the start.

Lilo & Stitch 2 is also releasing during Memorial Day weekend in 2028. Looks like we‘ll have another team-up event.

As a believer, I am very excited for this. The Passion is such a hard watch, I’ve only seen it twice my whole life. Looking forward to the more hopeful side of the story.

    6. Never watched passion of Christ but if there are angels in this one that makes it a 10/10 film we need more angles in movies .

I knew the two parts were going to be spaced out to create hype, but I’m shocked none are releasing during Easter

Probably smart to avoid Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.

They probably would be able to coexist, but I imagine Lionsgate wants to try to get IMAX for this, and that wasn’t going to to happen with Godzilla and Kong getting all of the premium screens
