I’ve seen so much praise for this trailer, but am I the only one who doesn’t think it looks very good? It just looked so bland and full of predictably timed jump scares.

The movie was mid. Being sandwiched between obsession and backrooms is only going to sink it further.

    3. From the trailer, I thought it looked like a Tubi-level movie. But I hope I’m wrong. I’ll go if the response from critics/audiences is good

Just came out of a screening in Australia. It was a competent but not particularly remarkable film; it very much felt like a Paranormal Activity movie. I think normally it may have done ok at the box office, but I think competing directly with Obsession is going to be a major issue, as I believe Obsession will get much better word of mouth.

    5. Saw the premise and thought I’d go in blind. But yeah, I’ll still check the reviews.

Seems mixed, slightly leaning positive from what I’m seeing. Maybe around 60-65%? Looking at the 8 reviews on RT right now. Let’s see.
