      Great. Now we’re fat-shaming Jabba the Hutt. Critics can criticize the content of the movie all they want, but leave the Hutts outta this. Ozempic doesn’t work on everyone.

      I’m a big SW fan, but bringing back SW back to theaters with a glorified tv special is a hilariously brain dead move. Should have waited till next year with Starfighter.

      Well see if the hard pivot to the family audience actually materializes I have my doubts as shown with Pjm if you can get the core fan base on board the family audience will come but this seems to abandon the core fans to appease that family audience first and foremost which I think was disneys biggest mistake with this

      I’ve come around to approaching this as a TV movie released in theaters. It basically cost what Mando Season 4 would have cost and will hit the Mando fans on Disney+ with long-term interest.

      Does this mean the movie will be any less of a financial disappointment? No. Does a $165m reported budget sound absolutely thrifty compared to past Disney misfires? Sure.

      Even if it doesn’t do that great. Obsession, Sheep detectives, Michael, and Prada should hold pretty well and it will be a decent weekend imo.

      Also, this feels like a lowball to me. $82M over the four days? I haven’t heard anyone claim it will be that low.

      They already have the headline written for Sunday. “Mandalorian and Grogu exceeds expectations at the box office!”
