Them Sheep legs are durable !
That’s a solid drop. I don’t know what Amazon’s expectations were for this film so it’s difficult to talk about. The budget is like 75 million but maybe they’re totally fine with this these grosses and they care about the streaming element too. It’s just difficult to talk about these movies sometimes that have a large streaming element. What is considered a success?
Why are people pretending this is a hit given the budget?

Between this and devil wears Prada; there were definitely some boosted numbers for Mother’s Day last weekend.
I actually loved this, but damn that budget doesn’t help it…
Why is this movie making 58m on a 75m budget so far treated like “it’s performing okay! Legs!!!!” but MK 2 making 101m on 80m so far is treated like a disaster.
I get MK 2 is an IP and this ain’t, and MK 2 has a 3rd movie planned and all, so it’s box office matters more, but I think these Sheep Detectives numbers are still really underwhelming.

I think it made like $14M internationally this weekend. So, it is showing signs of life overseas too. Should be able to go over $100M.
