>The Devil Wears Prada 2 remains firmly in first place with €6,657,152 and a sky-high average of €8,771 in 759 theaters (up €73 from last weekend). The 42% drop is remarkable considering the previous week's monster debut and the post-holiday weekend context. The Meryl Streep sequel's total gross has risen to a staggering €24,605,766 in just twelve days.
>In second place, Michael grossed another €3,367,121 (-28%) with an average of €5,650 in 596 theaters. The Michael Jackson biopic thus brought its total gross to €18,089,418. The film's performance confirms a much higher performance than the classic music biopics of recent years, continuing a run closely resembling that of Bohemian Rhapsody (which it continues to far surpass, as shown in the graph below).

I don’t know the English word but holy mastodonte. Sub-45% drop after a massive OW is incredible. Looking at the graphs it’s just going up and up and up, and although it will maybe start seriously slowing down now, it’s still a gigantic success in Italy even if it doesn’t make a single euro more.
