Before someone suggest the idea,
No, Sony *will never sell* SPE unless the whole company is going bankrupt and can’t raise loans/debts.
I could easily see the 2nd or third movie getting to the $1 billion mark.
Sony Pictures will thus shortly become the *Spider-Man* and anime people. (Possibly with Columbia giving live action DBZ another try.) Anyway, great results and I hope the main division can get back on track. The new *Resident Evil* movie does look badass, after all. Also… Netflix might need some help with *Narnia* and *Cliff Booth* in theaters.
Impairment losses of 27 billion yen… SIE, which recorded impairment losses of 88 billion yen in the quarter, nevertheless showed stable growth for the fiscal year.
I’m glad Goat was considered a success. Maybe not the most unique film, but still.
