IMAX not grossing above 500 mn and Avatar still being the highest is suprising.

“Any upcoming movie that will join this?”
Probably the upcoming Christopher Nolan film shot entirely on IMAX lol.

Avatar 4 and 5 are sorely needed. And no , nobody wants to pay imax to watch Earth.

Odyssey and Dune 3 seem like the most obvious candidates.

The Odyssey at $150M+ most likely, Dune 3 maybe but i think it will drop a little like 10-15% from the second movie. Then Secret Wars

The next likely players for TOP 10 IMAX:
1. The Odyssey
2. Dune Part 3
3. Avengers Secret Wars
What a powerful TOP 4 btw…, they all grossed over 2B+ globally!
Avengers Doomsday will easily become the highest grossing movie without an IMAX release.

Dune 2, Interstellar, and Oppenheimer with ~20% of their total sales coming via IMAX is….. expected but still quite impressive.
Nolan and Villeneuve are almost synonymous with spectacle these days.

Oppenheimer here at 5 is bizarre. It makes sens ebecause it’s made by the poster boy for IMAX. But a film like that isn’t the first that comes to mind to must watch on the big screen.
