What’s the budget on this thing?
It seems like downballoning. I got under the impression the first film was a fan favorite and that it played well on Nielsen and Netflix the year of its release. Even if it had underperformed on digital and streaming there hasn’t been comedic actioners for fanboys at this scale and Many of them might show up.
The first trailer had a lot of positive reactions by key influencers so I think it might overperform.

Yeah it makes sense the first one did abysmal numbers even with streaming release factored in. Audiences are more likely to stream this than check it out on the big screen
According to the article, DWP2 is targeting $460 million worldwide total this weekend and Michael will be well over $500 million. Theatres are *thriving.*
