Decanonize the sequel trilogy and try again. Make the real episodes 7-9 and pretend the other ones never happened.

They should do a live action KOTOR or a live action REBELS.

But how much are fans celebrating over numbers that don’t exist, given that I’ve been seeing the same news for a day? Exactly what supernatural power does it take to watch 22 hours of movies in a single day, because I don’t think anyone noticed that the ranking only refers to May 4th.

Scrap the newest trilogy and go again after 6th episode

They need to stop grasping at straws surrounding the skywalker legacy and look to different ages and corners of the galaxy.
While Andor was related as a sort of prequel, it was a step in the right direction by NOT being so focused on the force and all these things. A political thriller based in the SW universe was incredible. If they can continue to lean on these sorts of stories until they find the next big ‘thing’ that would position themselves way better than recycling all of these legacy stories, characters, etc.

The sequels are still too recent. Gotta give a little more time for the nostalgia and revisionism to set in.

I mean story issues aside, the sequel trilogy somehow managed to make Star Wars boring and kind of pedestrian
The prequels at least had memorable bad writing, on top of some of the best action and set pieces in the series. The new trilogy didn’t really do anything worth rewatching.

Andor is the Star Wars I believe now, hard to raise that bar.
We need some Old Republic stories, go back to the past first.

They need to jump like 200 years into the future and just create a brand new trilogy from scratch, totally new characters, plots, planets, etc.

Let’s lay down one hardcore fact first to dispel some rumors.
Disney will NEVER declare the ST non-canon and NEVER retcon The Last Jedi (beyond what ROS already did). Don’t ask, it’s a non-starter.
With that said, their best bet is a big time skip past the wreck they left.

Honestly instead of covering this like 60 year period from Phantom to Skywalker. They should honestly do something that is like several centuries in the far distance future, which basically gives the franchise a clean slate and enough of a distance from the Empire and Skywalkers that they can basically do anything.

I never thought I’d say this, but a reboot seems inevitable eventually. Or maybe midquels featuring Luke, Han, Leia, etc.

I never understood why there so afraid of the old republic. So much so that the created the high republic.

Never listen to the fans, people will like anything if it’s done right. Fans weren’t too optimistic about Andor when it was announced and it’s the best thing since the OT
