This movie was doomed the moment they decided to make the story of Animal Farm a generic kid’s movie with fart jokes and pop music.
Heck, Transformers One makes for a much better Animal Farm adaptation than this.

The marketing for this on instagram has been one of the weirdest things. They literally paid off accounts to make memes.
And then occasionally one clip will actually be pretty dark, like Boxer being taken away, but it’s just an insane contrast from the 90% of the rest of the movie

Haven’t seen it, but the notion that this is altered to criticize capitalism is the most Hollywood thing I’ve ever heard.
There is so much editing that occurs in the hollywood mindset to retroactively paint things that criticized Marxism to be retrofitted to cater to modern society. Both this and 1984 were meant to talk about the state overarching and becoming tyrannical. From my understanding this instead takes its aim at unrestrained capitalism. Correct me if I’m wrong

Does anyone know what the budget is?
Edit: Nevermind, I found it. It’s $35M. Yeah, this movie is cooked.

How are these films promoted? Like through churches and religious music radio stations?
