How does one literally have to select the throwback TUESDAY flair to even post this.
And then not figure out its not a Tuesday…
$209 million today roughly adjusting for inflation, absolutely insane numbers.
I remember seeing this at age 13 in the cinema and walking out a high, it was so good.
First film to open with…
100M+
SPIDER-MAN (114M)
150M+
SPIDER-MAN 3 (151M)
200M+
AVENGERS (207M)
250M+
AVENGERS INFINITY WAR (257M)
300M+
AVENGERS ENDGAME (357M)
350M+
AVENGERS SECRET WARS (357M)
Insane success back then.
I wonder how much that film would have grossed, if released this summer for instance.
And considering how much people prefer the 2nd film, I‘m surprised that it couldn‘t outgross the first film.
Spider-Man 3 is the worst of the three, according to online people, and yet that one earned the most in the trilogy.
