Confident this will be the Donkey Kong spinoff film that’s been rumored for years now. Super Mario Movie 3 probably won’t be until April 2029

Mario 3/donkey kong maybe, the turn around time for Despicable me 4 & minions 3 is just 2 years each.
Also looks like illumination will release nothing but Nintendo and minions slop for the foreseable future

2027: The Legend Of Zelda

2028: Donkey Kong

2029: The Super Mario Bros Movie 3

2030: Star Fox

This is probably the Donkey Kong spin-off movie for April 2028. The actual third Mario movie probably won’t come out until 2029 at the earliest anyways.
