seen it last night and honestly thought the horrible reviews were kinda blown outta proportion. it coulda been better but did i think it was horrible? No. I feel like people are complaining about stuff that never happened in the eras the movie covered so of course that stuff wasn’t in it. It did kinda feel rushed and fast paced at times but i seen worse biopics imo

But, so far it appears audience reception is lower then the most optimistic users on this sub, but higher then the most pessimistic users thought it would be, it seems.

Is this real? If it is its mostly from the early access previews which would make an A- far from ideal because you would expect the early access to have a crap ton of hardcore fans.

Well, the score is fine, although it’s probably mostly coming from hardcore Michael Jackson fans, since they’re the ones who attended the early screenings.

That’s….early??? And also while good, keep in mind an average MJ fan would be loving the hell out of this. So an A- isn’t as good as we’d think. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a little more frontloaded or drops next weekend

If this is really the CinemaScore rating and not fake, then it means that despite the critics, Michael can expect good word of mouth.
Fake, Obviously not the official account with only 33k followers and some fan stuff. Nothing on official CinemaScore web site or social media pages. There is no way the grade will be released before the premiere.
