I can’t rewatch 90210 because it’s so chaotic and stressful, but I ate it up as a 12 year old.
Maddie and Cassie specifically because Nate was abusive towards Maddie and then Cassie dated him anyway. That old adage – “a man will kill you, but a male centred woman will help him hide your body,” comes to mind. A friend sleeping with your ex sucks. And in the last seasons of Buffy the vampire slayer, where everyone turns against Buffy, including Willow. Leaving her entirely alone, except spike of course. Very sad. I dont remember the full context, but I remember being very upset about it as a tween lol.
