I can’t see it happening. Movie looks very mediocre. This franchise needs an actual good director at the helm. Not sure why they brought back the guy from the 2021 film as he’s not it when it comes to being a good director.

I’m waiting for streaming for this one (and Street Fighter). I would have seen them both in theaters if they did a double feature.

This sub’s hate for video game movies is pretty high, they’re basically rooting for them to fail. The funny part is that when they actually do good numbers, those people disappear from the posts or start hoping for big drops at the box office lol.

I know it released simultaneously on Hbo Max back in 2021, but it’s crazy that the opening weekend of MK2 is going to be higher than the entire domestic gross of the previous one
