Another strong hold thanks to its select IMAX screens returning and good WOM and if it can hold well against Michael next weekend, then The Devil Wears Prada 2 on the following weekend, then it should finish around $325M with a possible $350M if it holds well against The Mandalorian And Groku

Its nice an actual great movie is having amazing holds. Getting some PLFs back and Mario being a soulless cash grab helps but PHM’s box office run is incredible.
My hot take or maybe not even that much of a hot take….I think Michael and Devil Wears hurt Mario Galaxy more than PHM. I think theaters are going to keep PHM as the family film and dump Mario.
Holy smokes what a phenomenal hold.
On top of that, it’s getting like 10 Oscar nominations.

Genuinely a crazy hold this weekend and has now outgrossed Dune Part Two’s entire domestic run of 282m. It should reach 300m+ by next weekend, unless it holds really poorly against Michael, which looks unlikely.
