1.0B-1.2B final…, although, most people are saying: 1.0B-1.1B now, on par with giants such as:
1. Toy Story 4 – 1.07B
2. Toy Story 3 – 1.06B
3. Moana 2 – 1.05B
4. Despicable Me 3 – 1.03B
5. Finding Dory – 1.02B
6. Zootopia – 1.02B
ILLUMINATION – TOP 3 (currently):
1. The Super Mario Bros. Movie – 1.36B
2. Minions – 1.15B
3. Despicable Me 3 – 1.03B
It will finish weaker than The Super Mario Bros. Movie (1.360B), but 1B+ is 1B+, so at the end of the day, this is still a huge deal. But it‘ll be certainly interesting to see how well the third film will perform.

Honestly, I could’ve easily seen a world where the Mario galaxy movie significantly outgross or was going above the first movie comparing their second weekend like sure the movie is already gonna make money, but just imagine how much money it would’ve made if it was genuinely a great film that improved upon the issues of the first movie
