Glen Powell is set to take center stage in a new comedy from Judd Apatow.
Universal Pictures announced Monday that the name of the previously untitled feature is The Comeback King. Hitting theaters Feb. 5, 2027, the film features Powell as a country western star in free fall.
Cristin Milioti, Madelyn Cline, Stavros Halkias and Li Jin Hao round out the cast. Apatow helms the movie from a script he wrote with Powell.
Powell took to Instagram to share the image revealing the title and added the caption, “Turn it up. Feb 2027.”
I still remember The Comeback Trail and getting that trailer during the covid era when theaters were just opening up, just for the movie to never come out until it was abruptly released on demand in February of last year.
Releasing the same day as M Night’s next movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal. Interesting.
He’s a big time standup comic with terminal cancer and he learns important lessons about stuff. It’s called ‘Super-Hilarious.’
