I feel like Searchlight is not provided the adequate resources to promote their resources. Disney is happy as long as it grosses a few bucks and it can go off to “live” on hulu in forever limbo

I really hope this makes enough to eke out a small profit I like everyone involved, I feel like Kathryn Newton picks fun projects but for one reason or another they never fairly prompted. I think Freaky could have been huge but Covid killed it

This movie is toast it won’t even make it to 35 million.

Bummed it’s not seeing more success, saw it last night and while it’s not quite as good as the first still a fun time. Def a case of letting the iron get cold but also think it didn’t really have a good hook since “now do it again, but this time bigger” is ok but it being different families instead of one big family lost out on the fun that made the first good.
