We all know that 2026 is going to be stacked with blockbuster hits and figure Zendaya would easily have the biggest box office haul. But thanks to our friends at Feature_First (follow them on IG) it's come to my attention that there are a few contenders for the box office crown.

Anya Taylor Joy has a billion dollar hit easily with Mario (plus she's in Dune). Colman Domingo could be a sneaky winner if Disclosure Day and Michael become surprise hits. Also we can't discount how big Devil Wears Prada 2 will be which can help out Anne Hathaway.

TLDR, of this list who at the end of 2026 will have the largest box office receipts – or is it just Zendaya after all?

If he is in Doomsday, her husband funny enough. If Holland isn’t in Doomsday though, then Zendaya being at top is a very safe bet.

Everyone besides Tom Holland and Zendaya is just there to fill space: they have no real shot.

If Holland ends up not being in Doomsday, Zendaya wins the year (BND + The Ode + Dune).

  3. Florence Pugh maybe (she’s rumored to have a cameo role in Brand New Day) and is also in Doomsday and Dune: Part Three

  4. Wait Zendaya and Pattinson share three movies in 2026. That’s kinda insane with none of them being in the same franchise

  5. I forgot about The Rock (and his awful wig) with live action Moana (which can be massive) and the next Jumanji film. But he likely still won’t beat Zendaya or Tom

  6. Though not listed in the image, Meryl Streep also did voice work in Project Hail Mary so I’m going to count that towards her final box office haul

Take Animal Friends off the list for Jason Momoa, as it will now not release until 2027. And not sure why streaming series is on the list for some of them.

  8. It’s kind of funny that most of the actors here are either in Dune or Odyssey (or both).

Anne Hathaway also has that JJ Abrams / David Robert Mitchell film The End of Oak Street
