Man, what a wet fart of a sequel(s) – both 2 and 3. The first film was so charming and funny. And to this day, I still think the first film’s box office performance is an all-timer!
Im half-greek and I consider the first film as a chillingly realistic documentary. Both sequels were just mediocre sitcoms.
And let’s not even talk about the actual sitcom.
It was counter-programming with Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice. It’s box office performance did not match its predecessor, but it was never going to be the leggy sleeper hit that the original was back in 2002, which started off as a limited release, before having continuous expansions. The sequel still held its own against Batman v Superman though.
