1. Doomsday
2. Brand new day
3. The Odyssey
4. Dune 3
The most obvious order

Spider Man Brand New Day does $1.5B, Odyssey does $750-800M, Doomsday and Dune 3 both do $800M-$1B.
Of course, the impending strike will affect all of their release dates so we’ll see how this plays out

Doomsday #1, and Spiderman #2. #3 will be some surprise movie not on your list (maybe Toy Story 5)

I’ve said this a few time and i’m going to say it again.
Moana takes number one overall. Yes even over Avengers and Spiderman.

Dune won’t reach the first film’s box office, or even exceed it by much.
Avengers will surpass 2 billion,
Spider-Man will surpass 1 billion, and Odyssey will make roughly 700-800 billion.
Biden2028- on
Doomsday 2.2 billion, brand new day 1.35 billion, Odyssey 1.2 billion, Dune 750 million

Avengers: Doomsday is 100% winning this unless WOM is straight-up horrible. It might not seem like it yet but that’s because we’re 9 months out and marketing hasn’t fully kicked in yet.
Once marketing kicks in, expect this movie to be **everywhere**. Marketing for this will be through the roof and this film is what everyone’s going to be talking about for several months to come.
That, on top of RDJ returning (who is HUGE with the youth these days in terms of meme and internet culture), Chris Evans returning, and the fact that it’s literally another Avengers movie after almost a 7 year wait, is what is going to launch this film to the stars and have it skyrocketing in the box office.
Only thing that could come close is probably Spider-Man.
The Odyssey’s success depends on whether it’s PG-13 or R tbh. PG-13 is good as teens and even pre-teens, along with families will go and see it as a summer blockbuster event. An R rating will severely limit demographics as only adults and maybe older teens will go and watch it. Oppenheimer only did as well as it did (Not even a billion) because the movie had raving WOM, and of course, because of Barbenheimer.

Brand New Day will outgross Doomsday by a few thousand.

Doomsday is going to be the clear winner, It will #1 film at the box office for 2026

It’s a toss-up whether Doomsday or Super Mario Galaxy takes the worldwide crown (both around $1.3 – $1.5 billion). Slight chance that Brand New Day could overperform and challenge that title.
Here are my top 5 predictions:
1. *Avengers: Doomsday* – $1.53B (nostalgia-bait films like NWH and D&W did extremely well)
2. *Super Mario Galaxy* – $1.48B (more fan-favorite characters plus good will)
3. *SpiderMan: Brand New Day* – $1.36B (most popular superhero ever)
4. *Toy Story 5* – $1.16B (last two films did $1B and Disney’s. recent animated sequels overperformed)
5. *The Odyssey* – $960m (Nolan’s on a roll)
