8.4 domestic is wild. I had ambiitiously claimed 8 to 9 instead of everyone else’s 7-8 and kinda cant believe it came true (pending actuals).
Spring Break is clearly having an effect and I think the backlash to the backlash matters as well.
Enough people are tired of seeing the online aggrandizing ,of internet personalities shitting over this movie due to something that has no real bearing on this movie itself, that some may have seen it just to spite them.

$200M definitely should happen now

I thought it was going to fall short, but it may be able to leg out to $200 million WW. Impressive.
This also furthers my belief that the second week drop would have been less severe had it kept PLF screens for more than opening weekend. Good chance the drop would have been on par with VI.

Imagine saying exactly 6 years ago that the *seventh* movie of a then-in-oblivion Scream franchise would be on track to make more than the same-team sequel of a 7 oscar-nominated Joker…

And people were saying it wouldn’t hit $200M, and it’s probably getting close to $210M

Ghostface really slashing the box office, impressive!

It’s disgraceful the lack of morals in this place and the mods delete anything that calls you all out on it.

Scream 7 will hit the box office TRIFECTA

Congrats to all involved! Now let’s see if [my $205MM worldwide prediction](https://www.reddit.com/r/boxoffice/s/zBlr1pURBf) becomes reality
