    It has now hit 2.8x its 80 million budget. Even considering the backend deals, it surely must’ve broken even with this cume. Not too shabby for an adaptation of a victorian era gothic novel.

  2. So despite all the doom and gloom with the opening weekend and reviews, this wound up being a decent hit and profitable for Warner Bros. after all.

    Excited to hate watch Fennell’s next film, maybe she can take on Shakespeare next.

    [Movie] surprisingly did better the longer it stayed in theaters, although initial broadcasting for [Movie] made many insiders predict theater going is dead. [Movie] was originally slated to be on a streamer where [Movie] would have been buried from general audiences.

    Copy and paste almost every two months lol.
