I want to see the next weekend performance to finalize my projections. For now it will be $300M – $335M.

So just about what was expected, which was very little to begin with. Even in terms of box office the movie is bland and unexciting.

Also here’s some DVD cover Taglines for Mango and Grok:

“It’s not miserable” – Rich Evans, Red Letter Media

“It’s achieved a new level of blandness” – Mike Stoklasa, Red Letter Media

Feel free to respond with taglines of your own that you’ve seen around.

Could’ve been worse domestically, terrible INT. The lesson here to me is to not make a movie continuing from a show for starters, but more importantly is somehow SW needs to appeal more outside America.

    5. Far cry from Stitch last Memorial Day. Attack of the Clones made 3x as much as Stitch in 2002. Crazy how things have changed.

Seems like no one reporting this can get on the same page, we just had a post about it being several million under that. Yesterday we had posts about it reaching $102 million.

A $100M opening with 2.5x legs (which would be average legs) would give it around $250M domestic, or am I completely off? Where is this expected to finish domestically?

    8. No idea why this isn’t taking off.. A year or two too late ? Grogu is a character Disney fumbled on..
