I think what really helps this film is that it’s pretty rewatchable. Not just the music, but its comedic elements and traditional coming of age storyline is entertaining to watch in a group setting.
I think this sub didn’t realize how special Michael Jackson was. His music and aura was beyond controversies.
400 million seems like a very small chance, but if they do not put it soon onto PVOD and introduce singalongs once it starts going below 1 million weekdays, it really might somehow get to it.

As a wise man once said, “Michael Jackson has fans that are not even born yet”, the success of this movie just reaffirms that.
