Pretty good. My screening was enthusiastic. Tons of people dressed up. Lot of old people too.
Pretty fun movie imo. My friend REALLY loved it. She flat didnt wanna see it but was smiling and having a blast throughout. Side note: she went crazy for the Moana trailer and kept talking about how good it looks.
Is it over or are we back?
For a movie that already received mixed reception from critics, that score is actually good to say at least.
So this getting an A- or B+?

It wasn’t as bad as I thought.
The audience reception looks a lot better. Still expecting an A- CS.
My opinion as a Star Wars fan was that while it wasn’t a great movie, it was entertaining enough that I’m glad I went to see it, which is not what I said leaving the theater after the last couple of star wars films.

Given all of Disney’s efforts to pull in the female demo on SW for the last 10+ years I’m a bit taken aback at the 67% male demo.
I saw it today, it’s a heck of an action movie. It cut out a lot of the drama and galactic politics that I didn’t like about other *Star Wars* films.

By comparison, Solo received a 73% definite recommend which is around the same reception as this. So a “meh” A- CinemaScore for a general audience standard is still likely. It’s just that Disney was expecting so much more with Solo, while they’re expecting the bare minimum with Mando.
