I remember thinking “who still likes Angry Birds?” when this came out. Felt like they waited just a few too many years to make it
Both movies are peak. I know a lot of ppl remember Gosling blaming for The Nice Guys failure (also a great movie) at the box office, but they were both genuinely hilarious. Yes, they probably should’ve been made a few years earlier, but I am glad they happened and happy they made a good amount of money. Excited for the finale at the end of this year.
The amount of adult jokes in this is insane looking back. HOW did they get away with a giant orgy depiction statue?
They waited too long to make a movie, maybe somewhere in 2011 or 2012 could’ve been better
It cams out three years too late but dang, this movie is actually a lot better than it had any right to be. The sequel is pretty decent as well.
