    >The Devil Wears Prada 2, which is maintaining a very high pace, once again held the top spot. The weekend box office totaled €2,758,584, a 59% drop from last weekend. The average was €3,733 in 739 theaters (23 fewer than last weekend), and the total since April 29 is €29,170,755.

    >As we wrote yesterday, the film will surpass the €30 million mark within a couple of days, a feat rarely achieved since the post-Covid era, and even in general. Interestingly, Inside Out 2 had a multiplier of 3.6 between its opening weekend and total takings, while Barbie had a multiplier of 4.1. Currently, Prada 2's multiplier is "only" 2.5, demonstrating that the film still has a long way to go.

    >Michael continues to rack up box office receipts, with word of mouth being one of its strengths, allowing the film to increasingly reach beyond the pop star's fans. Over the weekend, the biopic grossed €2,370,711, a modest drop of 30%. Its average gross was €4,499 in 527 theaters (-70), and the total since April 22nd has already reached €21,428,534.

    >This was a result that wasn't exactly predictable on the eve of its release. It should also be noted that Michael was the most viewed film on Sunday, May 17th, surpassing Prada 2. The comparable film Bohemian Rhapsody had a nice 5.3-fold increase in its opening weekend gross; currently, Michael's gross is 3.7.
