Boots Riley Urges ‘I Love Boosters’ Audiences To See Film On Opening Weekend Or “It’s Game Over”

I was expecting SXSW hype for Boosters would lead to it breaking out at the box office, but I may’ve been overestimating that hype.

However, my main objective was that if I watched In The Grey this weekend for Eiza Gonzalez, then I’m watching Boosters next weekend for her as well.

I’ll be there opening weekend. It looks infinitely more entertaining than Star Wars.

How is it supposed to be? The trailer didn’t work for me at all. I also wasn’t a fan of his previous film, I know I’m in the minority. These aren’t my type of films but if it’s solid I wanna support original films.
