1)This is a list of biggest global openings with all markets put togther to give it a more apples to apples comparision
2)Although there are still discrepancies in comparision as studios/trades report the opening weekend of a movie as its total gross through first sunday in a territory
3)Due to this some movies benefit while some movies lose out :
"*"
-Endgame had a 7-day opening of $33M in russia(opened apr 29), hence the total bump
-Age of Ultron is so high because it had a 6-day opening of $156M in China
-Zootopia 2 had 5-day openings in both US & China($159M & $272M)
-Spiderman: Far from home had a 6-day opening of $185M in US
-Furious 7 is the weirdest here, it opened on a Sunday in China where it had a $69M opening day(this is what i counted since it was the gross through first sunday). It's total through second sunday was $251M. It would've been a lot higher on the list if it didn't have a one day opening wknd
-Ne Zha 2 had a 5-day opening of $431M in China
4)Dr Strange 2 is the only movie only this list which didn't make a billion, terrible legs
5)Movies that underperformed with respect to their openings:
Civil War,Strange 2 & Fast 8; all should've made $1.3B+ atleast
6)Loss of China market is clearly seen here, only 4 movies post covid and Zoo 2 & Ne Zha 2(yeah ik) only made it here thanks to China
7)Marvel may not have the best legs but they are king of openings, 11 out of 20 movies here
8)Doomsday should get in b/w 3rd to 5th; i expect a $580-620M opening
9)BND could enter b/w 14th to 18th position; i expect a $460-480M opening
10)Frozen 3 & Secret Wars will enter next year with $550M+ each atleast
11)What are your predictions for any suprises which could enter this list

Marvel will dominate again in 2026, if Doomsday and Spider-Man receive good reviews, 2027 will continue to be Marvel’s.
Not a single DC film here makes me sad, especially when marvel is dominating so much.
