Landed right on the high-end of predictions with a good Sunday bump. Now let’s see where it goes from here
Anecdotally, my screening yesterday was packed and the crowd was super into it. Hoping this translates to great legs

MGM got a little crazy with that almost estimated 7m Sunday.
I was thinking 14m after Friday’s number so a million more than my guess. Lets see if word of mouth can give it some solid holds maybe it can hit 60m.

The potential box office film.
I think legs will be closer to Lyle Lyle Crocodile (4.1x) than IF (3.3x). The thing about IF is that it had Garfield the next week, whereas this is the last family film before Toy Story 5.
Is this a good number? The 75 mill budget (although the cgi sheep were excellent and the cast is star studded) worries me that this thing will not break even.
Saw it Saturday night with a packed crowd. If you like fun comedies for the whole family, this is the movie for you. *Very* emotional, too.
My wife loved this, she wanted to re watch it the following day. I think it’ll have good legs
