While 2025 had flops such as The Smashing Machine, Eddington and Legend of Ochi, along with Sundance purchase Sorry, Baby underpeforming. Materialists, Marty Supreme and Friendship were enough to redeem the year as a decent one for A24, even if it wasn’t great.
2026 is looking like a better year for A24, with two success story so far with The Drama and Undertone, and HBO’s Euphoria coming back for its third and potentially final season. Even though Mother Mary lost money and How to Make a Killing will break even via home entertainment, it looks like a less riskier year (with stuff such as Tony, Backrooms, Death of Robin Hood and Famous) than what A24 had last year.
