    Looks like $5.5M previews for #MortalKombat2. Initial audience reception is okay to good. Expecting the weekend to be around $35M.

      Not sure why Charlie thinks this is gonna be that front loaded. Shouldn’t 5.5m previews lock a 40m OW? It’d only need a 7.3x IM

      For comparison, Final Destination: Bloodlines also made $5.5M from Thursday preview, and it ended up making over $51M in its OW. So there’s a high chance that it will overperform.

      I don’t think it will be that low. I think this person is lowballing. I think it will reach $50M. I hope it happens.

      If MK1 performed well on digital and streaming this might perform
      Better than expected. The fanboys haven’t had anything for them in a long while and general audience seems to like it.
