Saw this for the first time at the rerelease the other week. Very unique movie & definitely worth seeing for the theatrical experience
I recently rewatched this in IMAX. Absolutely deserved to be seen in that format. Sure, CGI looks fake, but you can tell that this was intentional and if nothing else, the film’s set designs, costumes, and ESPECIALLY sound effects were excellent. You can easily, Easily, EASILY tell where they spent $120 million budget on this.
Now that I think of it, did anyone feel like **Elemental** kind of looked like it took some visual inspirations from this, especially regarding Element City?
That movie based on a manga was way too intense for their kids which I’ve remember seeing that movie that racing films like Fast And Furious that were my favorite
