It wasn’t necessarily a good film, but it was still a lot of fun to sit through even with that laughably terrible Scorpion King CGI. Also, I have rewatched this film recently and a lot of CGI actually don’t look that bad for something that has a budget of $98 million back in early 2000s. Sure, you could say that it’s no **Gladiator** ($103 million), **The Perfect Storm** ($120 million), **How the Grinch Stole Christmas** ($123 million), **Pearl Harbor** ($140 million), **A.I. Artificial Intelligence** ($100 million), **Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone** ($125 million), **Star Wars: Episode 2 – Attack of the Clones** ($115 million), **Spider-Man** ($139 million), **Minority Report** ($102 million), or **Men in Black 2** ($140 million), but at least it did some decent jobs at visuals aside from… you know.

Not as good as the first, but still pretty entertaining overall. I’m glad Ardeth Bay got to do more in this
