Super Mario Galaxy: A pretty meh opening day, but the movie will be heavily focused on the weekend as presales have already jumped to 175k admits. I could see a 5-day opening weekend of between 400k and 600k admits. Scores are pretty forgettable with an 8.6 on Megabox and a 94 on CGV. Anime was the best comp for the movie, maybe it is due to being a Japanese product?
Devil Wears Prada 2: Comps were nearly on point as F1 proved to be nearly spot on. Feeling like the movie will be frontloaded as presales dropped to 127k admits. Thinking the 5-day opening weekend will be around 600k-750k admits. Scores are pretty forgettable at 8.7 on megabox and a 93 on CGV.
Salmokji: A fantastic day as the movie crossed 2.1 million admits and will cross 2.2 million admits on Friday. Still thinking 2.5 million admits is pretty safe.
Project Hail Mary: The movie has a nice drop, but is being propped up by cultural day, so let’s see what the weekend has in store. It is losing about half of its theaters, so don’t be surprised by a drop above 40% this weekend.
The Man Who Lives With the King: Feels like the death week as a drop this big on cultural day usually means the movie will take a huge hit. Will cross 16.8 million admits safely still!

Damn new competition is not affecting Salmokji at all
I expected a harsher drop for PHM but yeah the weekend could be different.
So it’s like the audience score where it looks fine for Mario Galaxy , but it doesn’t match its predecessor had
You’re pretty harsh for no reason. A 93 CGV is great not meh.
It’s funny how Mario and Prada scores are basically identical. Meh indeed but they should both be. Fine. It’s not bad or anything just. Fine.
When does Michael release there? Can we expect tracking for it?
