The Saudis will fund the rest of the season, but LIV is looking for funding from other sources. (Doubtful.)
As far as the players, the ones that violated their PGA contracts, will have to go through the process of getting their tour card again. They will be subject to penalties as well. Some players left LIV earlier this year, so they will be able to reenter the PGA tour faster. If they have won a major tournament, they will be expedited through the returning member program.
