Both trailers for Supergirl make it look like any other Superhero movie… I’m still optimistic that it’ll turn out decent, but it absolutely doesn’t look original.

Breaking: CEO of company says customers still want the product is company makes

His statement isn’t true and deep down he knows it isn’t otherwise we’d all be watching The Authority right now and it would be cruising to a sweet $500m or something

Maybe that was once true but the damage has been done and now even good superhero movies won’t do as well as they used to.

  4. the denial over superhero fatigue drives me crazy. Dr Strange is no better or worse than Thunderbolts, but the former made 250mil more and that’s without factoring in 9 years of inflation. Aquaman is colorful but otherwise mostly forgettable and that made more than Rogue One did.

  5. I think the general public has repeatedly demonstrated that it isn’t that interested in quality, or at least not exclusively and not in such a simple way. Super Hero Fatigue doesn’t exist; in my opinion, it’s just an easy way to trivialize and justify the decline of a genre that dominated for years (and if we have to talk about a dominant genre that has declined, it means a replacement has arrived, which isn’t there right now).

Regarding Supergirl, the trailers are wonderful, but I see Guardians of the Galaxy with a modern style of superheroes who are often portrayed as very young people who have lost their way.

  6. So when this movie will eventually flop it will be beacause it was a mediocre movie, noted.

Hmmm…. Okay? Nothing about supergirl trailer make it look like anything new or special.

    Let’s find out then.

  8. Honestly, between 2021 and 2025, they only put out about three good superhero movies (GOTG3, Spider-Man, and Superman); the rest, both DC and Marvel, just kept putting out a lot of garbage.
