Texas Chainsaw is the most creatively bankrupt horror franchise out there next to Halloween. This movie would have to be REALLY good in order to make anyone give a damn
I get what he means in that you didn’t give a crap about the people in Fede Alvarez’s awful reboot, but ‘heart’ is a helluva way to think about a movie that owned the genre for decades because it rips your heart out and stomps on it until its splattered. It’s the least sentimental US horror movie maybe ever.
