    1. Absolute casting, phenomenal acting, absolute scores by Hans, and a great flashback of that era of racing! One of the best automative racing movies!

Rush really nails it, sometimes your greatest advantage isn’t just your talent but a rival who refuses to let you stay average, the friction is the force that forges what you couldn’t have built alone.

    3. What I love about this scene is that it quietly kills the “hero vs villain” framing the movie sets up early — by the end, they’re basically the only two people who fully understand what the other sacrificed to live that way. Lauda’s little half-smile says more than most sports movies manage in an entire speech.

    4. It’s one of my favorite endings to any movie. Perfectly captures their unique individual qualities/wants in life while also showcasing their love for each other even through a bitter rivalry. I know the movie presents them more as adversaries while in real life they were much closer, but I’ll let it slide for such a fantastic film

Not sure why this movie hasn’t received the lasting accolades it deserves. It’s so well done.
