Project Hail Mary is on track to pass The Martian by next week. Pretty much locked to catch the original theatrical run for Interstellar. Still has a shot at overcoming Gravity.

Surpassing Martian is big. This just keeps on chugging.
I don’t think it’ll pass Interstellar
Gravity was only at $472m in its 6th weekend, but went on to gross $723m, higher than all the other movies’ initial runs.
It did have a nearly 3-month staggered rollout in international markets, but it could have easily lost steam by then, if not for the pretty good reception and “must-see on big screen” WOM.
